Deep-clean the leather jacket with Lexol. This is a popular leather care product that removes dirt and dust buildup on leather. It also polishes the leather to bring out its natural shine. Apply a few drops of the product onto a clean, dry washcloth, and run it over the surface of the jacket.
  • 3
Soften rough spots and remove scratches with carnauba cream. Massage the cream on spots that have become hardened, like the elbows and outer edges. Small scratches and fine lines can also be smoothed out with the carnauba cream.
  • 4
Polish the leather and restore shine with beeswax. This natural wax is also used to prevent water damage. Use your fingers to rub the beeswax all over the leather jacket, concentrating on particularly dull and worn areas. Allow the beeswax to absorb for a few days before wearing the jacket.
